AI Landing Page Review: Find What Loses the Sale

Copix · · 6 min read

An AI landing page review reads your live page the way a buyer does and tells you where the sale leaks: which sections are missing or weak, which claims need proof, where the page sounds machine-written and which fix to make first. A useful one compares your page with pages that already sell, not with a generic checklist, and gives you the exact line to change.

Most landing pages that get traffic and few sales don’t need a redesign. They need two or three specific fixes in the right order. The hard part is finding them when you’ve read your own page a hundred times.

What does a landing page review look like without a tool?

You paste the page into Claude or ChatGPT and ask “how can I improve this?”. You get a tidy list: add social proof, make the headline clearer, use urgency, add a FAQ. Most pages would get that same list.

Then you try a free audit site. It scores the page out of 100, checks load speed and tells you the button should contrast more. Useful, but it can’t tell you that your offer section comes after your price, or that the one claim your whole page rests on has nothing next to it to back it up.

So you change the headline, because that’s what everyone says, and the numbers don’t move.

Approach What it checks What it misses
Asking a chatbot “how can I improve this?” Whatever comes to mind A fixed method, so advice repeats from page to page
A free audit score Speed, contrast, a 0 to 100 score Section order, claims without proof
A review with a section map and winning pages Each section, its order, risky claims, AI tells, a ranked fix list Design and load speed (use a speed tool for those)

What should a good AI landing page review tell you?

Five things, specific to your page:

  • Which sections are there, and which do their job. A page that sells usually has a hero, the problem, how it works, proof, the offer, the price, the risk reversal, a FAQ and a final call to action. A review should mark each one present, weak or missing.
  • Whether the order works. Proof before price, the offer before the price, the guarantee near the price. A page can have every section and still lose the sale because the price lands before the reader believes anything.
  • Which claims are risky. A promised outcome you can’t control, or a number with no source behind it, flagged with the reason and a safer way to say it.
  • Where the copy reads like AI. The tells readers skim past, counted per 1,000 words.
  • What to fix first. A ranked list with the section, the problem and the replacement, not twelve equal suggestions.

The sales page guide covers what each section is for. The review tells you which of them your page is actually missing.

How do you know what “good” means for your page?

Compare it with pages that win. A fixed pass mark fails most real pages: in our October 2026 study of 110 winning landing pages behind long-running Meta ads, a 0.5 pass mark on proof placement passed only 9% of them. A score means more when it says where your page sits among pages that already sell.

That’s how the Conversion Engine in Copix works. It reads your page and places each judgment (the promise in the hero, who it’s for, how it works, where the proof sits, the objections it answers, the next step) against 521 winning pages: landing, sales, product and other pages behind Meta ads that stayed live six months or more, and blog posts from the Google top 3. Each result says “below most winning pages”, “within the winners’ range” or “above most winning pages”.

How do you run an AI landing page review with Copix?

Copix is an MCP server, so the review runs inside the AI you already use: Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or Claude Code. Once it’s connected (setup takes about five minutes), you ask in plain words:

Review my landing page at https://example.com and tell me what to fix first.

Your AI calls page_review, tells you the price in credits and waits for your yes. Then it reports:

  1. The section map: every section present, weak or missing, plus any order issues.
  2. The top fixes: up to eight, ranked by impact, each with the section and what to put there.
  3. The judgments: each score next to the winners’ range.
  4. The findings: risky claims, competing calls to action, missing proof and AI tells, each with the line it sits in.

A review costs 4 credits. Add a competitor’s URL and it compares the two pages side by side for 6 credits: where yours leads, where it trails and the moves to close each gap, written with your own facts, never their wording.

Your AI then rewrites the weak sections with you, and the review tool checks the new copy before it goes live. The handling objections guide and the call to action guide go deeper on the two fixes that come up most.

What does it cost?

The Conversion Engine is part of Copix Complete: $29 a month or $290 a year, with 1,500 credits every month (unused credits roll over up to three months). At 4 credits a review, a month’s credits cover 375 page reviews. Complete also includes the SEO Engine and the Ads Engine, plus everything in Basic: write, review and your saved brief, unlimited.

Your first plan starts with a 14-day free trial: you add a card at checkout, pay nothing for 14 days, then $29 a month unless you cancel from your account. Complete gets its full 1,500 credits on day one, so you can review your page and a competitor’s before the first charge.

FAQ

Can ChatGPT or Claude review a landing page on their own?

They can read it and give advice, but without a fixed method they tend to give the same general list to every page. Copix gives them a section map and a comparison with winning pages, so the advice is about your page.

Does the review change my page?

It only reads the public page and never edits it. Your AI suggests the rewrites and you decide what goes live.

What kinds of pages can it review?

Any public web page: landing and sales pages are the main use, and product pages and blog posts work too. Pages that render only with JavaScript and show under 30 words of text can’t be read, and those calls spend no credits.

Is my page stored?

Copix keeps the size and a digest of what you sent for the usage log, not the page itself.

Do I need Copix Complete for this?

Yes. Basic ($9 a month) includes write, review and the brief; the four engines that measure live pages, AI answers and ads are on Complete.
